A magna cum laude graduate from Southern Methodist University's Engineering School, Emily is a natural problem-solver with an eye for detail. Prior to her career in engineering, Emily was a dedicated athlete; as a swimmer representing her home country of Belgium, Emily qualified for the Olympics and participated in European and World Championships. Hence, discipline and working hard are the norm in Emily's life. Due to her international background, Emily has an aptitude for crossing cultural boundaries and she is capable of facilitating transactions in Dutch, French and Greek.
Emily’s clients can count on her expert market knowledge, attention to detail, strong negotiation skills and highly responsive communication to ensure they meet their real estate goals. She focuses on the needs and preferences of her clients, listening closely to what matters to them. Her intention is to be the best real estate professional, and to strive for ultimate client satisfaction!
Beyond the world of real estate, Emily is very passionate about animal welfare and the environment. At her leisure, she enjoys working out (swimming, kickboxing or bouldering) or volunteering at the Dallas Zoo. Emily and her husband Nathan, along with their daughter and 3 rescued dogs, live in the Prestonwood Estates in Far North Dallas, where she also serves on the board of the Prestonwood on the Park neighborhood association (POPNA). Emily is very fond of this area of Dallas, which includes neighborhoods such as Prestonwood and Spring Creek, because of its beautiful, mature trees that line the neighborhoods, spacious lots with mostly ranch-style homes, as well as the exemplary RISD schools. An added bonus is the ease of access to any of the major highways (and tollways), making Far North Dallas perfectly situated to get around the DFW metroplex. For spatial reference, Far North Dallas neighbors Addison to the west, Richardson to the east and Plano to the north.
